Ramadan Tent for Homeless in Toronto

While this is a good initiative,  I would have removed the Dawah Booth, which negates the good work, the intention does not seem to serve, but to convert.  -Mike Ghouse, Ramadan News

The Ramadan Tent Project is a community-led initiative that connects the homeless and public at large, Muslims and non-Muslims, to break fast together in the heart of Toronto through the Open Iftar initiative.

With Open Iftar, we hope to bridge Toronto’s various communities, using the month of Ramadan as the avenue through which we share stories, learn about each other, and listen to members of the larger communities we are part of. We want to provide an open, inviting and safe space for all Muslims and non-Muslims.
